We are a computational biology group at The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, established in September 2023. We study how splicing shapes cell identity, and we build the platforms and algorithms to measure it in single cells.

The lab builds BenchDrop-seq, a benchtop platform for isoform-resolved single-cell RNA-seq, and Bagpiper, its quantification pipeline. We apply them to how RNA isoforms shape cell states in disease, currently in NRAS-mutant melanoma, multiple sclerosis and EBV infection.
